Eroding Gently
Satoko Togashi: Eroding Gently
According to photography, it is never move, just stop as the plane picture.
However, I'd like to show there are stillness and movement on my photography. When I choose to take plants, aquariums and waves as my motif, I always release slow shutter. The movement part expresses the tracks of wind or a large school of sardines. When I work in the dark room, I can see the boundless greys sometimes enhance the black and sometimes the white, and makes me realize that is useless to give names to colours. I'd like to say through my work that is black and white, stillness and movement are erording gently between their own territory.
